Question 1.

Calculate, using both a hydrogenic model, and the relevant form of Moseley's Laws, the wavelengths of the characteristic x-rays in the K and L series for the first full row of the periodic table (K-Kr).

Compare your calculated values to those tabulated in Volume 4 of the, International Tables for X-Ray Crystallography.

Assess and critique the quantitative agreement between your calculated and tabulated values, in the context of both the hydrogenic model and Moseley's Laws, as a function of atomic number (Z).

Show all work, including written code, and cite all references.
